This is a vintage George Schrade Hawkbill knife with the and the tang mark is GEO SCHRADE PAT 1-27-42 Pat. Pending B'Port CT. This item was most likely produced sometime between the 1942 Patent Date and 1956 when they sold the company to Boker. This is a Hawkbill Knife #175 Heavy Gauge Blade, one of a series of wire frame knives patented and produced by the George Schrade Company in Bridgeport Conn. The condition of this knife is very Good especially considering the age and comparable available knives in this series. This will be a great addition to any collector.
