The 4.5" D2 tool steel blade is handmade by Silver Stag craftsmen and heat treated to 62 Rockwell hardness — delivering extreme wear resistance, outstanding edge retention, and the versatile performance that a true do-everything sportsman's knife demands. The blade geometry is a masterclass in multi-purpose design — thin and sharp enough to fillet and gut trout, capable enough to skin and bone deer, and versatile enough to cape, process, and handle the full range of hunting and fishing tasks with equal confidence. This is the knife for the hunter who also fishes, and the angler who also hunts — one blade that does it all without compromise. Note that a light coat of oil after use keeps the D2 blade in peak condition.
