Named for the graceful curve of its handle, the Case 00263 Canoe is a two-blade classic that has earned its place in the pockets of outdoorsmen, anglers, and collectors for generations. The Canoe pattern features two full-length blades mounted on opposing ends of the handle — a design that keeps both blades balanced and the knife comfortable in the hand. The 2.6" spear blade is the workhorse of the pair — symmetrically shaped with a strong, centered tip designed for piercing and heavy-duty utility tasks, including cutting fishing line, cleaning fish, and removing hooks. The 2" pen blade handles lighter, more precise work with ease. Both blades are crafted from Case Chrome Vanadium steel — the "original" Case blade steel, a special formula of alloyed chrome vanadium that delivers outstanding edge-holding ability and easy resharpening that serious knife users have trusted for over a century. Note that Chrome Vanadium blades are less corrosion-resistant than stainless and benefit from a light coat of oil to maintain their finish — a small trade-off for superior edge performance that many collectors and working knife users strongly prefer.

The peach seed jigged amber bone handle is warm, natural, and beautiful — with a texture that provides a secure, comfortable grip and a classic look that only improves with age and use.
