The Benchmade 865BK-01 takes the fierce upswept scimitar platform that made the Bedlam family instantly recognizable and wraps it in a layered Coyote/Black/OD Green G10 handle that blends earthy field tones with tactical aggression — a color combination that stands apart from the all-black 865SBK while maintaining every element of the performance that makes the Mini Bedlam one of the most distinctive tactical folders in the Benchmade lineup.

The 3.45" upswept scimitar blade is crafted from CPM-S90V stainless steel (59-61 HRC) with a Graphite Black Cerakote finish — a super steel with exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance, delivering outstanding slicing performance through the unique hooking and drawing cuts that the scimitar geometry was built around. The plain edge version maximizes the precision and slicing capability of the upswept blade shape, allowing the full scimitar belly to work through cuts where a serrated edge would catch. Spine jimping and a thumb ramp provide confident blade control throughout.

The layered Coyote/Black/OD Green G10 handle is where the 865BK-01 finds its distinctive character — three contrasting layers of G10 visible at the chamfered backspacer and handle edges, creating a depth of look that shifts with the light. The handle is aggressively textured with detailed milling, serrations, and a chamfered backspacer that provides superior grip through big cutting tasks and rapid movements. Finger grooves and a finger guard position your hand naturally for maximum control. The dark copper PVD pocket clip adds a finishing touch of warmth to the earthy palette.
