The 9" trailing point blade is crafted from CPM-MagnaCut stainless steel (60-62 HRC) — a revolutionary powder metallurgy steel that delivers a combination of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance that outperforms traditional fillet knife steels by a wide margin. Benchmade's SelectEdge technology produces a razor-sharp, ultra-fine edge specifically optimized for powerful push-cutting and effortlessly smooth filleting. The blade features a long, straight edge section for stability through the cut and an upswept tip specifically designed for precision deboning work. The thin 0.090" profile with medium flex allows the blade to hug the backbone and glide under the skin of large fish with minimal waste and maximum efficiency.

The Depth Blue Santoprene handle is contoured for a confident, secure grip in wet conditions — with a finger guard featuring jimping to prevent slipping during hard push-cuts and a lanyard hole for wrist attachment or gear tethering. The included Sonar Gray injection-molded sheath features two side slits for alternative mounting options and a drainage hole at the tip to protect the blade between uses.
