The Benchmade 165BK Mini Bushcrafter is the compact, EDC-ready counterpart to the 163BK, sharing the same premium material package in a more packable 7.58" overall form. Designed by Shane Sibert, it delivers tank-like toughness in a size that goes anywhere.

The 3.38" drop point blade is CPM-CruWear tool steel, hardened to 63–65 HRC with a black Cerakote finish. CruWear is a non-stainless, air-hardening powdered tool steel engineered for extreme toughness and outstanding edge retention — the kind of performance that stainless steels at this price point simply can't match. The Cerakote finish adds corrosion protection and keeps the blade non-reflective in the field. Whether you're feather sticking tinder, batoning through hardwood kindling, processing camp food, or building improvised shelter, the 165BK handles all of it without hesitation.

The full tang carbon fiber 3K twill handle scales are fitted with red G-10 liners that show at the edges — a clean, purposeful look that's become a signature of the Bushcrafter family. Carbon fiber keeps the knife light at just 6.08 oz while maintaining exceptional handle strength, and a lanyard hole at the base gives you wrist or pack tethering options. The modular injection-molded sheath with push-button retention release provides secure carry and quick access, with versatile attachment options and a dedicated recess for a ferro rod.
