When the full-sized Bushcrafter is more knife than your kit calls for, the Benchmade 165-1 Mini Bushcrafter steps in — and doesn't give up a thing that matters. Designed by Shane Sibert as a compact, EDC-ready evolution of the same platform that earned the Bushcrafter its reputation, the 165-1 delivers the same premium materials, the same full-tang construction, and the same purpose-built outdoor capability in a more packable 7.58" overall package.

The 3.38" drop point blade is CPM-S30V stainless steel, hardened to 58–60 HRC with a stonewash finish. S30V is the benchmark for premium stainless performance — excellent edge retention, solid corrosion resistance, and the kind of toughness that holds up through real field use. Feather sticking, batoning kindling, food prep at camp, making improvised tools — the Mini Bushcrafter handles it all with efficiency and without complaint. The fuller along the flat grind reduces weight while maintaining blade rigidity, and the plain edge stays sharp longer and is easy to touch up in the field.

The OD Green G10 handle scales are contoured for a secure, four-finger grip with red G10 liners visible at the edges — a visual nod to the full-sized 163-1 that makes the family connection unmistakable. Hollow pins reduce weight without sacrificing structural integrity across the full tang, and a lanyard hole at the base gives you wrist attachment or pack tethering options. The included dark brown leather belt sheath features snap retention and a dedicated ferro rod loop — keeping your fire-starting capability right alongside your most essential cutting tool.
