Designed by master bladesmith Shane Sibert as a premium evolution of the original 162 Bushcrafter, the 163BK takes the platform that earned its reputation in the field and elevates it with upgraded materials, refined blade geometry, and an entirely new carry system.

The 4.38" drop point blade is forged from CPM-CruWear tool steel, hardened to 63–65 HRC. CruWear is a non-stainless, air-hardening powdered tool steel that delivers a remarkable combination of extreme toughness and outstanding edge retention — outperforming conventional stainless steels in the kind of hard-use tasks that define backcountry work. A black Cerakote finish adds a layer of corrosion protection while keeping the blade low-profile and non-reflective. Baton through hardwood. Feather stick kindling. Process game. Build shelter. This blade handles all of it without flinching.

The full tang construction is wrapped in black carbon fiber 3K twill scales with red G-10 liners — a handle that looks as purposeful as it performs. Carbon fiber delivers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, keeping the overall knife weight at 7.18 oz while standing up to everything the outdoors throws at it. The red liner peeking through at the edges adds visual distinction that makes this knife unmistakable in a gear bag or on the belt.

The modular molded sheath with push-button retention release offers versatile carry configurations and includes a dedicated recess for a ferro rod — keeping your fire-starting capability integrated with your most essential cutting tool.
