The 6.08" trailing point blade is crafted from CPM-S45VN stainless steel (60-62 HRC) with Benchmade's SelectEdge technology — a proprietary sharpening process that produces an ultra-fine, ultra-sharp edge geometry specifically optimized for the smooth, precise cuts that trimming, deboning, and slicing meat demand. CPM-S45VN is an advanced powder metallurgy steel that delivers outstanding edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance — a meaningful upgrade from the S30V used in previous Meatcrafter variants. The satin finish and thin 0.09" blade profile work together to produce a knife that glides through meat with the efficiency of a professional butcher's tool. The trailing point geometry maximizes usable edge length and keeps the belly of the blade working through every stroke. An orange Cerakote accent ring adds a pop of high-visibility color that looks sharp fireside.
